Where is your favorite place to walk?

โI like going for a walk on Ventura Beach. Thereโs good lunch places and itโs like a small-town area near the water.โ

โIโm going to go with the beaches, and Iโll say Point Dume in Malibuโwalking down Point Dume and taking the stairs on the more rugged part of the point. And then doing a little boogie boarding, a little surfing and a little strollingโvery masculine strolling, of course.โ
Devan McGivern, 22, Cal State Fullerton business management graduate

โIโll say Griffith Park in L.A. Thereโs an Observatory trail that stops halfway and you have to scamper up to the Observatory. The park has a very interesting ecosystem and its own environment. Itโs always buzzingโthereโs always a party or a community event going on.โ
Lincoln Charles, 22, Cal State Fullerton political science graduate

โI really like the Blue Trail in the woods behind Chaminade. There are a lot of banana slugs, and people in the neighborhood walk their dogs there. Itโs kind of a secret spot.โ
Thure Sullivan, 22, University of Denver music recording major

โThereโs a beach trail in Southern California that I walk from San Clemente Pier down to San Clemente State Beach. I just like walking on the beach in the morning or at sunset. I usually run into people I know, so thatโs fun.โ
Emily Anderson, 23, University of Denver psychology major

โThe Tillamook Forest trail, near Portland. There are not many people at the more difficult heights. At the top thereโs a really good view. Past the forest is the Tillamook community where Iโm from. The ice cream is just down the road, and you can visit the creamery and everything. You smell the cows before you see them, but thereโs plenty of them.โ
